look at 5:13 and if u lisen very quiet u will hear a noise and if u froze ur paintballs ur gun will need some repaires and my friend has done that and his DP G3 gat broke becouse the cap gat frozed and it speeld the paint all over the cap and it frozed ( he lest the gun out side and he lives in poland )

I just asked my brother-in-law about this, and he recalls that we were using Marballizer paintballs fired from an auto-cocker. According to him (and he is a pro paintballer), some paintballs have different compositions and aren’t necessarily made in the US. So, some will freeze and seem like chunks of ice, whereas most will behave like the ones mentioned in the video above.

Although you have a point that most players aren’t going to load up frozen paintballs, I can assure you that some paintballs behave differently when frozen. Some will become brittle (as you have demonstrated) and some will seem indestructable. I know because I was testing this out just to see what would happen (back in 2002). I shot frozen paintballs from the balcony of my apartment at stop sign. Most of the paintballs bounced off the stop sign with only a few shattering.

i took some air out …
i took some air out of the paintball and put in water and froze them work pretty well but ended up braking a window but you can freeze them but you just have to modify it
