How many paintball boxes do arenas consume in a month ?

i am planning to start my own paintball arena,it will be the first of a kind in the region,so no one to help.
we are planning to work 3 hours a day,10 players each 1 hour game ! btw thanx =)

Depends. Will it be field-paint-only (FPO) or will players be able to bring their own paint (BYOP)? You’ll sell more if it’s FPO but that sometimes turns players away. But since you say there are no other fields in the area, you might be able to get away with it. Oh, and boxes of paintballs are called cases, and each case has 2000 paintballs.

But that still may not help you figure how many cases you may sell in a month. Figure you only sell paint on weekends when your field will be open, maybe sell most to rental users who don’t typically use a whole case each, maybe get 20-30 rental users a day, might work out to 150-160 cases a month. That’s assuming you stay consistently busy.

However, you do NOT want to buy paint once a month, you wanna get fresh paint each week, so it doesn’t sit around and get dimples, and so you don’t spend a ton of money up front each month. You should start at 10-20 cases a week.

Then again, buying paint in bulk saves money in the long run. If you order a skid of paint (cases stacked on a pallet), you’d save a ton. A skid can have anywhere from 40-90 cases on it.

Is mail ordering paintball accessories illegal in California?

I know mail ordering paintball markers is illegal in CA. I just want to know if it’s the same for ordering accessories. For example I am planning on ordering a gun holster for a Tippman TPX, but would like to know if there are gonna be any consequences.

It’s perfectly legal, it’s only the gun you’re not allowed to buy. Basically the logic is if you’re buying a holster you’ve already got the gun, so must’ve bought it face to face.

Hope this helps
